Our Philosophy

At EPIC, there are four character traits we seek to foster. We feel these traits contribute to being a successful, happy person.
E Enthusiasm – Being positive & excited for all the potential life has to offer. When you are on the right path, you wake each day enthusiastic about the future ahead. This translates to a motivated, happy athlete who looks forward to new challenges.
P Perseverance – Never giving up, despite the obstacles thrown your way. Our athletes learn that nothing of value comes for free. Everything that matters is earned, through hard work and dedication.
I Integrity – Doing the right thing, even when it's hard. Sometimes, doing what's right IS difficult. Sometimes, it feels like it's unfair. But when our athletes look back on their actions, we want them to be able to do so with pride knowing they stood by their principles. 
C Confidence – Learning to believe in yourself, no matter what. In today’s world, there are many things that can undermine a person’s confidence. But confidence is imperative for anyone on the path to any sort of significant achievement. Our athletes learn to believe in their own abilities, and that they are fully capable of pursuing their dreams.

Accountability

We believe in accountability, and open communication. That is why our directors have scheduled office hours, where anyone is welcome to drop in. We genuinely want to hear your comments and feedback, as we believe in constantly improving our offerings. Please drop by and let us know what you think.

Commitment to Quality

Above all, our focus is quality. Quality instructors, quality facility, quality programming, quality results. Your child will never be taught by an under-qualified individual – our instructors go through rigorous training, and our gymnastics coaches must be fully NCCP certified before they are allowed to coach a class of their own. Our promise to you is that we will never sacrifice quality for profit.

Our gymnastics programming is standardized so that each class will have the same curriculum, tailored to each child’s individual skill level. Our curriculum is a proprietary 'level system' - with a logical progression between levels. Our dance classes are grounded in proper technique and strong fundamentals. We don't make it too easy, but we do want to have success within reach. Each child will be challenged, but in the end leave feeling successful knowing they've accomplished something.
